Braun Gets Extension

Ryan Braun is staying in Milwaukee for 7 more years. A press conference was held this morning to make the announcement. The deal is for 8 years and worth $45 million. The contract is the richest in Brewers history. With the deal the Brewers buy out Braun's first two years of free agency.

This is a huge signing for the Brewers. It's nice to see the Brewers lock up young talent. Now it's time to start working on a new contract for Sheets since he is a free agent after this season.
